Well I just looked at my 2nd bill for Directv and it looks interesting with the price increases. Here's what it showing me:
Total $55.70
So it looks they'll credit me $5 for 5 months for the advanced receiver fee and they'll credit me another $5 through January 2014 so I can keep the old pricing until then. Here's the bill for the 1st month to compare:
Total: $51.35
So basically if it wasn't for the PPV movie that I ordered (which I'm redeeming a PPV coupon for anyway) it looks like my 2nd bill would have been less than my first. What I don't understand though is why my sales tax doubled on my 2nd bill if the amount of my fees are the same?
