I see the future of cord cutting more like cable in the future. With all these companies merging their apps into larger services that then go up on prices. We will probably end up with fewer company apps and then you would have to sub to all of them to get all that you watch and then you end up back paying higher prices to watch the few shows or series that you used to watch for less. This is the only way I see these companies surviving or being profitable is if they can use a model like this that makes more people sub to them like the forced cable packages. Personally I can live without all these different apps. I have Netflix through my T-mobile account and I only get 480p but it looks fine and it cost me nothing. I have Paramount for Star Trek and Disney plus, but really could do without this one to be honest. But my wife and son would be mad if I dropped Disney plus.
