Warning 836..........Check Switch test has found fewer satellites than previously detected. Press cancel to keep old result or save to save new result????

What does this mean and what option should I choose?

Thanks!

Before, there was 110, 119 and 129. That was when I had the 311 receiver connected to the Dish 1000. When I connected to Dish 500 using the 311 I got the message above........I assume it meant it couldn't find any satellites.

"When I connected to Dish 500 using the 311 I got the message above"

The D500 can only see 119 and 110, the D1000 can see 119, 110 and 129. When you connected it to the D500, the 311 could only detect 119 and 110. Run check switch and the problem will go away. Menu, 6, 1, 1, Check Switch.

It just means what when you hooked up to the D500 the reciever was only able to view 2 sats (110/119) then what it could "see" from the D100 (110/119/129) thus the reciever is "warning" you that it "lost" sight for a satellite. Press Save. It will happen every time you change a dish.
