I've posted on every tv forum I can think of, with no help. Does anyone here know how to get in to a newer Insignia LCD SM to access White Balance controls?

I guess they really, really don't want you to get into the service menu.

Yep, most people just buy a new TV if an Insignia quits working.

elwaylite is trying to make some adjustments via an internal Service Menu, but he's having trouble accessing that menu (if it exists). Apparently nothing wrong with the set itself...

Well, and one must really not everyone has the same budget. My dad bought a 37" Insignia for a good deal 3 years ago (i think) and it has served him well, and I've watched movies over there that have looked fine. He got a small bonus and wanted to upgrade. My goal is to make it look its best for him, and I may only be able to do certain things with my meter, but I'm sure itll help.
