info on Directv

hey Guys

am thinking leaving Dishnet this Summer for Directv here my questions that maybe some peeps here can help answer them

up to how many Receivers u allowed by directv ?

the Stander HD receivers can u add a external Hard drive to them like dishnet VIP 211 ?

can i pay Yearly on my Sub instant of every month ? its just easier on me

and any other details u can add would be helpful !

6 recievers from last I checked but in odd circumstances they can allow more
no. The HD units are just HD. The 211 is the "unique" receiver of the Dish clan
you can but there is no discount

and remember the monthly fee for a dvr vs a non dvr is the same

and get any equipment you may want at install

Since with dish I got 6 receivers on the account! Dish checkup on u if all receivers are all in the house does directv does the same thing! Just wondering because am not always home! On on road a lot for work

Man you would probably save a bunch of money going to D*, strictly due to the difference in price for the addl. recvrs alone.

Directv doesnt have a "hardcore" audit dept like Dish does. Now if you have 10 receivers on an acct maybe but normally they dont bother you

you shouldn't have any issues with this. in fact i'm sure you won't. i know exactly what you're talking about as i was with dish for ten years. you'll be fine. best thing i did was leaving dish.....
