Info bar doesn't go away without clicking "exit"

On my HR34 Genie, the info bar at the top that shows the program name, channel, etc does not go away at all unless I click the exit button. This just started happening recently. I have a C31 client, and on there it works fine.
I looked in the settings, and I see that it is set for 4 seconds.

Any ideas?

Well it just started recently. I have the hr34 for about a year already. I haven't done a reboot yet. Maybe I will try that.

I would try a reboot, that's the stock answer you know!

I see this issue every once in awhile, just like a few times If I'm say on TBS and want to switch to MLB Net and type in 213 the banner appears at the top with MLB Nets info but it stays on TBS. so I have to hit exit to remove banner then when I do it again works fine. Doesn't happen often.
