Today I found there is an iclinometer application available for your iPhone or iPod touch which is supposed to be very accurate (after initial calibration). It uses the accelerometers in the iPod / iPhone to calculate angles. Immediately I thought of the fellas here because we're always throwing around angles to newbies or others that may not have all of the test equipment that some of us have acquired over the years.
Sure, nothing probably beats a dedicated inclinometer, but for 99 cents I thought it would be worth a shot. Hope to get a chance this weekend to try it out and peak the 1.2 again.
iTunes store or the AppStore on your iPhone can take you to it. Just search for Clinometer.
PS, I don't have any ties with the author of the program, just thought it would be useful to some around here.
