In Dallas a new advertisement

AIRBOX Television is advertising an over the air service. It is available in Dallas,Houston, Phoenix, Jacksonville and Memphis. Web site airbox.com.but the only information is to call 855-247-2697 for more information.

Very reminiscent of USDTV that tried using digital channels at $19.95/mo. around 2005. They used Hisense DB2010 receivers that became popular low cost tuners at the beginning of Digital conversion after USDTV went bellyup.

A little googling found Airbox is on ION channels using MPEG4 so current TV's and decoders won't work. Radio Shack (who ever they are) looks to be the main vendor at $100. Programming looks to be 1 channel of each movie service and a lot of Spanish programming. If they are as under capitalized as USDTV was they also won't last 6 mo.
