Try this, create your account logon at Good TV. Better TV. DIRECTV. and then under My Orders check for the pending order and you might be able to schedule an earlier install date.

That is exactly what my neighbor did; he got a 3wk out appt and built a DirecTV online acct and went into the pending order/install and looked at the calendar and selected one 3 days out. You never know what the install company tells DirecTV regarding their REAL avail.
