code 0256 will control your MicroHD(at least the basic functions). That is a code for Coolsat so it's possible if you have a Coolsat remote lying around it might control it as well

The coolsat 4/5/6000 remote wont interfere with the Micro...I have both in the entertainment center (a 5000) and they play nice

Coolsat 8000 remote works on my MicroHD. Takes a little getting used to , some of the keys need relabeling . Thanks for the clue.

Couldn't believe that Philips is the remote I've been using! Good info! Hadn't done the "learning" yet on the new MHD remote yet into it!
I do find the MHD is a little tough to control from about a 45 degree angle out in my RV with its original remote.

Been thinking of trying a clear "bubble" of some kind over the remote window on the MHD to see if that helps capture the signals a little easier on the sides. Not sure if it would help. Not sure what could be used. Small inconvenience given all the pluses of the new receiver!
