OK, I was a bit bored and finally went and saw it. It has done well in the box office despite its R rating (probably mostly language).
It is not going to wow you with its plot or witty dialog, but it has its funny scenes and moments. Gets a bit sappy and predicable in places. A middle of the road movie. But, for the time of year, about as good as you can expect.
