I think it would be neat, if we had a sticky thread as identifying dishes.

Like the name of the dish with a picture next to it, how many ribs it has, the sizes they were made, ect.

That would save alot of people from posting needing help id-ing a dish.

Impossible to do...

From the late 1970's until now there were wayyy too many dish manufacturers/marketers that made wayyy too many different models. Even looking at a picture there are some models that look almost exactly alike, and a few companies had private label dishes made by the same manufacturer. Some dishes are quite easy to ID but some are tougher...
 
there is a dish my cable company uses 10-16 feet in diameter, what makes it unique is that its a spun aluminum dish, but has steel ribs on it
