Well, on Wednesday night I decided to go into the garage, and rearrange some wires for the DIRECTV setup. Besides the wires, everything else was untouched. I get Error 775. I don't want a tech to come out because I know all I did was mess with the wires that were connected, and connected them to the wrong ones.

All I did was disconnect one wire (several times) to another wire I disconnected. I didn't pull anything out of the wall. This bright idea was brought to you by Ambien.

Can't really help ya from those photos. As that box in the center is not viewable enough to see how the wires are connected to it. Or even know what it is.

It would help to know how many and what type of receivers you have.

the red port on the power inserter should be going to the dish. if thats not the case something got messed up and you may be supplying power to a reciever. since none of those wires are marked in any real fashion, do you have any sort of method to test which wires are which?

also, those two wires barreled together, are they for cable internet?

Do I need a power inserter for a single slimline SWM satellite?
