Well, where to start......


From the beginning....

Was cleaning up and seen that the power cords and the coax were all tangled up. So I disconnected the coax from receiver and untangled the mess. (took about 30 secs) I reconnected the coax and I get no signal detected or what not message. I give a few seconds and let it scroll through all the different transponders.

It goes downhill from there. Did a switch test which made matters worse. Even worse still, I set it to default settings. Ive unplugged, held the power button, pulled the card. It keeps reverting back to default satellite.

How do I get er up and running again??

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You must have connected it back up wrong. Make sure the coax from the dish goes to the satellite in connection on the receiver. If there's a diplexer in the line make sure the dish cable is on the satellite side, it will be marked. After you get it connected right, you'll have to run check switch again.
