Last weekend, I was watching one NFL game on my local CBS channel, and another on channel 388 which is "FOX-E" or something. I didn't think anything of it, just switching between 2 games. This Sunday, I can only watch my local game and channel 388 is blocked out "Channel not purchased."

I called directv to ask why I could watch it last weekend but not now, to sum it up the guy told me it was a glitch that allowed me to watch channel 388 last week. Is this correct? I'm disappointed that I couldn't watch Dallas play, but more I am confused as to why 388 was available and now its not.

Thanks!

From time to time they open up the DNS feeds for emergencies & when certain markets lose their respective locals. Unless you have a DNS waiver for the SD/HD locals don't expect to have any regular access to those markets.
