Yesterday I made the big plunge for a Hitachi 50 inch Projection LCD TV.(its a little bigger than my 27 inch)
I got it set up late yesterday and WOW what a picture on our Progressive setup on the DVD player. My old Dish set up is a dish reciever 4000. I contacted dish and they are letting me upgrade to a 811 for $50. Plus I get the HD programming at 1/2 price. However I have to do a 1 year contract.
Will the quality of the 811 give me a better picture than the 0lder 4000.

If you think your dvd PQ is good, the HD will be that much better... SD wise you will have to decide if the 4000 gave you better PQ than your new 811...
