I have 2 HWS & thought that once a program was recorded, there was an option to protect it. I do not see this option any longer. Was it removed?

If you have the old interface (software version S531) do the following:
1) Press DVR button and select the show you want to protect.
2) after the show is selected - Select edit from the drop down menu
3) turn the Protect Button from off to on
4) then select Save
