I'm working with Dirt Team Member Zach S on some wireless connectivity issues on my HWS. Basically the router is solid and the signal to the HWS is solid. He asked me to make sure ports 80, 443, and 5678 are not blocked.
Does anyone know how I would even go about checking this? If they are blocked, how would I open them?
I have a Netgear WNR2000v3 router with the Netgear Genie interface to change the settings
I have Norton 360
My OS is windows 8.1

To check if the ports are blocked go to http://www.canyouseeme.org and type in the port you want to check and hit the check port button.

As far as opening up the ports if they are blocked http://documentation.netgear.com/wnr2000/enu/202-10397-01/wnr2000-07-07.html

Thanks. I did figure out that they were blocked, and was able to set up a special port forwarding rule in my Netgear settings for my HWS. It seems to work better, but it's still buggy at times. I still don't understand one thing. If the ports are blocked, would the "On Demand" work at all? Before I changed the port settings, it would work sometimes, but not too often. My wireless connection is rock solid. I just wonder if this is a hardware problem with the HWS.
Check out these links. they are kind of long, but it's a good example of the overall problems I'm having. Notice how in the first link, "On Demand" never even opens or loads. Game finder is also buggy.
On the second one, notice how "On demand " loads fine, but when I go back to it again, onll two tiles open. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
