hulu vs web only

I was just checking which of the new shows are available on Hulu+. Figure i don't need to record if i can watch next day.
One of the shows i watch is Last Resort. Only available on the web not on Hulu+, however Nashville which is also an ABC show is on Hulu+ as is Modern Family. I also watch those shows.
So why limit availability to just the web? Especially with a new show. Im sure my logic is flawed but if you want to create a following for a show, knowing many folks time shift, why not make it available in as many options as possible, after initial airing of course?

That was one of the major complaints I had with Hulu+, so I dropped it. Now I use my HTPC and Hulu DeskTop (http://www.hulu.com/labs/hulu-desktop), which gives you a decent interface.

Any way to actually Pause Hulu Desktop through MCE remote?
It's a good thing I am on a 30 day trial with them...not to impressed with Hulu. Adds? pfff .., no Full Seasons? pfffff.., not impressed.

And not to forget... HuluPlus web has a bit more content than Hulu Plus on devices (xbox, roku, apple etc)
