I know how to do wiring, I tested my wire with a multimeter, it is good. I realize that there is a power out and data in, etc. So let's get past that. Also, I know that I can put an emitter on the front and cover it with electric tape.
Now that that is out of the way :)
Has anyone gotten this to work? I am trying it with a harmony 900.

Interesting question, I've never read of anyone that used the HR34 infrared port, and they removed it from the HR44.

I'm sure there is a way to use it, a purpose for why they put it on the HR44, but I've never read of any cables made specific for it or anyone using it.

I was really surprised to read the very few use it. I did a google search, and found very little, and nobody had any success with it.

Without electrical taping an emitter, to the front of the receiver, I recall seeing a way to deal with 2 receivers located in the same spot so that they don't get the IR signals from each other. Anybody know how?
