Looks like its program recommendations based on the shows you watch, sort of like Tivo.

Beta UMightLike right in the main menu selection list - setup inthe MISC OPTIONS menu; looks like a viewing history tracker and viewing recommendation tool = UGH!!

At this point nothing new or Pandora would have been better.

Its recommendations include Divorce American Style....

I don't have a problem with them adding this, it may be useful after it learns your viewing trends, especially around fall when there are lots of new series. Many like the feature on Tivo.

I don't think I'll use it much, but if they can make it work resonably well and not slow down the box, go for it.

As for Scott's box recomending divorce shows, uh, not good.

nah its showing the same 4 recommendations to everyone at the moment.

I think this is one of the many patented features they acquired from the ReplayTV/SonicBlue/Rio portfolio purchase; remember TiVo itself is really a follower of ReplayTV which got sued nearly out of competing but they were the BOMB. LOL

Bring on RAW video recording D/L to PC archiving.
