HR24 screen freezes

I have a problem that just started. Whenever I hit the guide or if I am on a sports channel and use the red button, the screen freezes and the dialogue continues. The only way to get the picture back is to change channels and then change back. Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix?

I had that exact problem on two HR24-500s until I started using Cutting Edge software. A reboot would solve the issue for anywhere from a day or so to a week when I was having the issue.
