I wouldnt take what I said with a whole lot of seriousness. Someone decided to yank my chain and I just yanked back.
My experience with dish network stank. I havent used any of their most recent dvr products but the stuff I tried a few years ago was horrible.
That having been said, there were a lot of reviews for all three dvr products. Not a huge statistical sample for certain, but enough to get some weight. Becoming more product neutral, if you're looking at a couple of routers on newegg, both have 300 reviews, and one of them is mostly 4-5 star and one is mostly 1-3 stars, which one are you going to buy?
In any case, the gist of my posts was that every product has problems and its in our best interest to identify them and resolve them.
