HR21-700 won't upgrade past 0x1fe?

I tried the reset, 0 2 4 6 8 thing today on my brand new HR21-700. But for some reason all that seems to do is force it to reinstall 0x1fe. I know I'm probably doing something stupid, but I don't know what it is...

That is the latest national release version, so it is doing what it should. CE versions are only available at specified times (see the CE announcements for details).

So if I wanted 0x0202 I had to force the upgrade on 2/29 or 3/1? I understand it now! Thanks!

There are no noticeable differences in the CE firmwares anyway other than some reports of audio issues and slow channel changes.

You also Have a specefic time window to force the download ,not only the specefic day!!
