HR21-700 question

I have my HR21-700 networked to my PC . When I turn off my PC, I get notification on my TV that the PC has logged off. This message does not go away automatically. I have to select OK on my remote to clear it.

Is there a way to turn this feature off or at least shorten the notification time? I waited 4 minutes to see if it would remove itself. Never happened. Ive searched the receivers menu and settings and didnt find an option. If there is someplace i missed please let me know. If there is no option, other than clearing it with the remote then maybe it could be added on a future CE release.

Is there a place to request this feature?

Second that

I agree, it's very annoying. I do think that it does time out and disappear without the key push, but it takes a long time. This message should be replaced with one that informs you that your server(s) are unnavailable whenever you try to connect to them (IMHO).

No you can not turn it off,

The annoying part is it comes up randomly. I guess if my PC sleeps or some wireless interference causes a temporary issue.

I'm not sure if that dialog is needed if one is not actually in media share.

Turn of the media share on your computer when your not using it.
