so now i see on demand in the menu screen how long it take for programming to show up?

How exactly do you enable vod? I click Menu - Search for Shows - Keyword - IWANTMYVOD - Continue - All - Enter.
Is that how ur supposed to do it? Whats the stuff about enabling Misc stuff in the VOD guide?

Go to search, then keyword, place the key word , continue.
Then on the receiver press Menu and Guide at the same time

I cannot access the DOD. In the menu I highlight "On Demand", press O.K. on my remote, and nothing happens.
