How's your 129 strength (want to make sure it's not just me)

My CNNHD was in and out this afternoon.

(Denver)
So I went and checked.... My 129 TP 18 is only 18.
My Denver HD Spot 129/TP4 is 38

Others:
119/12 = 61
110/12 = 97 (Denver Spot, Locals)
110/22 = 62

I went out an shoved the dish a bit in each direction, but 129 only got weaker.
Both my 722 & 622 are giving similar results.

Might be time for a service call.

Denver - New Two Dish set up (because of problems with the 1000.2 and 129 and I don't think they're completely dialed in. Long story.) . . .
129/18 = 60
129/04 = 77
119/12 = 62
110/12 = 98-100
110/22 = 66

This is with Drift on 110 (e -5) and 119 (e -6). I'm thinking that the two duals that they put on my 110/119 dish are going bad. I have been trying to get a hold of the Field Super that did my install, but he is not returning calls.

Thanks, Interesting LNB comments. I hooked up a (cheap) signal meter and the thing is bouncing like crazy. I'm thinking there may be some tree involvment (it's windy today).

Question: So, standing behind the dish and looking forward, the 129 LNB is on the left. So that means the 129 beam is more to the right then 110/119 (from the rear)? There are some trees over there.

So, I pulled down my old 148 dish and am getting ready to mount it for dedicated 129 operation (in a better location). But, in the meantime, I took the old 148 LNB and and placed it on the Dish 1000 (original model) in the 129 spot. My signal strength just doubled (didn't touch the alignment):

129/18: 48 (was 18)
129/04: 66 (was 38)

Looks like I may have one crapping out too. Been awhile since I messed with these (lately I've been letting dish come out and deal with the problems), but since I have a DPP44 I believe these are the older Dish Pro LNBs (aren't they different?). The one I took out from 129 had two coax terminals with only one connected (twin?), but the one I put on has only a signal coax terminal (maybe someone can remind me when the 2nd terminal would be needed).

Thanks, All.

I have also noticed some weak signals from 129 at some people's houses. Using a different DP lnb sometimes results in a better signal which means some must have lnb drift.

My new/old set up is back to two 500's, one with two DPP Duals (110/119, which may be going bad) and one with a DPP Single (for 129 which is great now) feeding a DPP44 switch, of which I was told, when I asked about using my DPP Quad instead of the two duals, it was said that the quad would burn out the switch. But I like the thought of individual components for future replacement. I was also told by the original supervisor that started this for me last year who left dish this time last year that he was moving many people back to the dual dishes due to the 1000.2 not being able to completely handle three birds effectively. I have heard this from the parts (the dish itself) designers also. That is why the new 1000.5 that is suppose to be the dish that the 1000.2 should have been and makes up for the lack in handling not only three birds but now four as a one dish replacement for the whole line up. Smart move. But I like my two dishes.
