I thought this was kind of cool so I wanted to share with you how it all works.
The SatelliteGuys Holiday channel is operated on "Clock Wheel Station" system, meaning you hear music in a special rotation. Currently the Clock wheel goes something like this...

(Then it repeats once again)
Now the songs are randomly picked from each category, and right now the songs are really randomly being played, however each song is being weighted. This means that at the start (when the station first goes online) a song has a weighted score of 75. Every time that song is played the weighted score is lowered by 1 point, however for each time that song is requested the score goes up 5 points.
After a few days of operation you will see that the weighting has a effect on the station the popular songs are played more often then the songs which no one really likes.
Because of this you see that YOU really do program the SatelliteGuys Holiday Channel! With your reqest not only are you getting instant gratification in hearing your favorite holiday hits, but your also helping shape the sound of the station!
