SimpleDo what? There are 32 teams in the NFL. That is 16 games. So to have "national" coverage, you need 16 time slots.

ABC,NBC,CBS,FOX, ESPN, TNT,TBS, and NFL Network
That's 8 possible channels, when spread over Sunday afternoon double headers, Sunday Night and Monday Night it's more than enough slots to fill 16 games on non-bye Weeks.

Oh, I get. You would like to have NFLST, without paying for it. Got it.
Of course, any NFL fan would LIKE to have ST without paying for it. Just because it won't happen doesn't mean we can't dream.
Making all games available to everyone would severely hurt the channels ratings and ad revenue though. CBS and Fox don't want people to be able to turn another channel and be able to choose between 6 or 7 other games on a Sunday afternoon. The NFL's monster ratings numbers would be spread much more thinly across several different channels.
And Tim McCarver while your at it ....Get rid of Joe Buck.
