How to update a Dish500 antenna to a TurboDish on a VIP211K box

I bought a turbo dish antenna to to see the 129 satellite. My existing antenna is a Dish500. How do you change the settings on a VIP211K to get it to accept the new antenna?

Short answer is Check Switch followed by Save. But you need to align that new dish first!

I just put up a 1000.2 in place of a D500,I used the same elevation and skew settings as the 500.Got 119 tuned in,did the check switch,found the 3 sats OK,then peaked the dish for best signal and done.Also using a 211k.

Check switch, to do that on your receiver remote hit menu then 6 1 1 then select the check switch option it should run though 1 of 3 or 1 of 4. If it jumps to 1 of 38 or 1 of 1, the dish has been installed incorrectly
