How to set up C/s 6000 for 8 port DiSEQc

Hi Folks,
Just got an 8 port switch, however, I can't seem to get the receiver to recognize
it has an 8 port switch hooked up to it.
Anyone have any insight???

the 6000 should be able to support diseqc 1.1

per my manual for it, the setup is as such (this works on the CS5000)

port 1 setup is 1-1 (1st number is comitted, 2nd is uncommitted)
port 2 setup is 2-1
port 3 is 3-1
port 4 is 4-1
port 5 is 1-2
port 6 is 2-2
port 7 is 3-2
port 8 is 4/2

I tried it last night and it didn't work. I was tired, so I'll give it another try
this evening........
