Can a mobile device be paired (linked) with Hopper? (I have a 'Hopper with Sling'.)
I've done it with a few devices, but can't see how to now. And, yes -- they are on the same LAN.
Note that I want to transfer recordings to a tablet (using DishAnywhere), so that I can watch while away, without using data.
I called dish's customer support -- apparently that feature has been disabled.

In my Hopper's settings, there is 'Mobile devices', which has an option to 'Accept pairing requests' (which is ON). It states to "open the app and follow the on-screen instructions". I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling DA. The list is empty now (I retired those devices).

DishAnywhere works fine (can see my DVR, and watch recordings). But, I don't see anything about 'transfer' anymore (I used it several times, on a few devices). Interestingly, DA does let me check storage.

So, what's the story?

I had a device from Dish that did this. Download videos and watch offline later. TBH, I rarely used it. Had to reconnect every 30 days, IIRC.

Hopper Go. They discontinued it and dropped all support.
