Is there a way to order something via Pay per View, then pay for it either online or via the reciever screens so it would not show on your next paper statement?

Whats ways can this be done? If its possible which is best?

Also how are items like Adult PPV described on your statement?

Thanks.

dont order it via the receiver...order it online or 1-877-DISH-PPV

I know it shows up on the bill next month (or the month after)

Have no clue how adult stuff is described...maybe "Well endowed women enjoy passion with multiple partners" (thats what it says if you hit "info"......or so I've heard :):D

dont know about adult items... but keeping them off the statement could be intersting... for instance

I ordered Texas Chainsaw.... I paid for it online before the statement came...

However that credit was shown as ppv texchain.

I will be man enough to admit my wife & and I have done adult PPV!

When the bill arrives it say "Adult Chnl Showcase" for the mutil-chnl block purchase.
When you order a specific adult chnl it will list that chnl name abbrv ex "TNEXTSY" and the costs, but the is no mention of the show or movie name if that is what you are worried about.

So is your problem an insecure wife or parents? ;)

I'm curious so I was wanting to see whats available for Adult PPV without the wife knowing.

What day are statements generated?
Why couldn't you pay the statement before its sent out via snail mail?

Why shouldn't I order PPV via the receiver?

Thanks.

Here's an easy way to get it not to show......
If you know how much your bill will be, go to the dish site and log in to your account. Pay your bill BEFORE it prints...hell pay a little more so you have a credit balance. Dish doesn't send out an invoice if there is a credit balance

until it clears the system (by dialing out), it stays on the receiver for anyone to see :)

That's a really good idea for building trust in a relationship.

Presumably you won't mind if she does sh*t behind your back and hides it, right?

You have my sympathy man. Why not forget about the PPV and just buy or rent some DVD's? I guess some women are too insecure to handle it. Glad I don't have that problem. :)

Good luck!

Isnt there an online statement only option? I know D* has one I thought E* does too. You can then print it out after you finish editing it

Also, when I had Dish I noticed that If there was a credit balance on my account, they would not send me a bill. You could prepay your bill now, edit the statement online, print it out and then give it to the ball and chain for inspection. :D

yes there is

credit=no statement

Lets see who can name the pop star and the video.

So I guess we know what the "Hardcore User" under your name means! LOL, couldn't resist.

BTW, I thought if you were a Bush supporter porn was off limits. j/k

My wife is the only one who orders that crap :yes Makes me watch sometimes and copy the flick ... poor, poor, me.

I have always had a problem with naked women I can't touch (strippers, chicks on TV) that is WHY I got married! They are much better live :)

Iceberg nailed it, order online, pay (more) online ... but just to be sure you better take away the wife's mail key ... ROTFLMAO!!!!

There is an option online and on the paper bill that you can check and they won't send a paper bill. after you order and it has cleared, you can call them up a month later and have them start sending the paper claims again.

Word of caution to the original poster. Just checked my 721 and noticed it still has NHL Center Ice PKG information listed in the purchase history screen from almost a year ago. I don't think this particular receiver ever clears your PPV purchases as mine is plugged into a working phone line full-time and it was paid in 3 installments last year. No problems ever dialing out or doing the phone tests so its not a case of a bad modem. It may be that the 921 behaves the exact same way for PPV purchases also.

The sports packages will stay there, especially if one opts for an auto renewal for the ppv. Adult programming won't have the title name but it will have the title of the actual station in its wake. If there is a credit on the account then true a bill would not be generated. Also yes there is a way to opt out having bills generated, that is something you have to talk to customer service about.
