Hi,

How to compensate for signal loss in long run cables? How to increase signal quality? Are there any indoor signal boosters available for cable between dish and the receiver?

Well, one of the easiest ways is to run one complete cable without using any connectors except at the end of each line. Each time you splice the cable, you'll encounter anywhere from a 1dB to 3dB signal loss. Even more if you do a poor job with the splice.

Amplifier.

By the time you get indoors, it may be too late. You need to boost the signal as close to the antenna as possible or you may just be boosting noise.

You may also be able to use a different class of cable to retain more signal depending on the frequency range required.
