Hello, I have a 622 installed with one tv and also output to a 2nd TV. I have attached photos of my install. The first is coming from the Dish on the Right. The green wire is just of course the ground:

Now this is the 2nd and this is what goes into my crawlspace. Can I still combine my OTA signal on this line?

Thanks in advance.

Also I have a 2nd COAX cable to hook up a 3rd tv and would like it work just like tv #2, how do I do that?

My Diplexer is a Steren Model 201-254

It says:

5-860 Mhz
950-2450 Mhz

Will this work?
I think the problem is Modulated TV2 output?

I'm not sure I understand what picture #2 represents. What is the box in the picture and where do the cables come from?

Where is your OTA cable in all of this?

The diplexer in the third picture will work if placed correctly and used in combination with a matching one at the ViP622.

Do you have a second DISH Network receiver that you're not telling us about?

This is what I can gather from the pictures. The first picture has a ground block with two ports but only one of them is going to a receiver (622). Seems to me the installer ran the cable to the ground block for a second receiver but left it there.

The second picture has a diplexer (Perfect Vision) for TV2 and the satellite signal. Do we know what the other diplexer is? Is it the Steren you're showing us?

Now to answer your question, NO you can't with that setup you can't combine OTA with TV2. You need to run a separate cable for your OTA antenna. Some people will say that you can combine TV2 with the OTA antenna with splitters, don't do it. It may work or it may not because the OTA and TV2 frequencies might interfere with each other, you're just gonna give yourself a big headache. You will also be breaking FCC rules because you will be broadcasting TV2 with your antenna.

You are correct in your assumptions Randall. The Diplexer is a set I bought awhile back. There is no "extra" diplexer in my current setup.

I will just run a separate cable for my OTA. I currently have an OTA antenna inside my house (outdoor antenna). Terrestrial Digital Lacrosse

I want to place it outside next to my Dish.

Okay, now to revive the thread. Which cable do I use for the home distribution? I want to hook up some splitters to get TV2 to some of my other outlets.
We cannot go much further until you start coughing up some answers to our questions. You're making us work awful hard to solve your problem.
