how to add 61.5

having rain issues with 129, i have a dish 1000.2 on 110,119,129
I thought about ading 61.5 with a switch?

however rethinking that ch numbers are the same on 129 and 61.5 so no way to tell receiver I want ch 9481 on sat 61.5 not 129?
Oh i must keep 129 for FSN MW and Ohio HD.,

Monsters HD is on 61.5 . The Dish you have now I belive you can hook a Dish 300 or 500 right into it for 61.5.. The programming is the same on the 61.5 as the 129,for the most part.So I think you have to have one or the other.Your RSNs are the only thing that I think is different. Maybe someone else who has 61.5 could tell you that part.

I have both 129 and 61.5 with a DPP44 switch. There is no way to really control which satellite you get a particular program from.

I added a D500 with I adapter to my 1000.2 for 129. Very easy because the 1000.2 has an input so no need for anything extra other than the dish.

I just dont know how the 622 will act with 129 and 61.5 coming into it.

All my HD receivers will pick 129 over 61.5 when it is hooked up. Right now I have it disconnected and only hook it up when needed.

Last time I had the dish peaked the tech noticed it was disconnected and took the LNB off the dish and drove off with it... Had to call them back to have it reinstalled....

I guess he could wire in 61.5 and then cover the 129 lnb with foil until he wants to watch something on it

If he can get to the dish. My dish is out of reach and the switch in the basement where I can get to it.

Thats true. Good thing is,if he can, all he should have to do is run the 61.5 cable from that dish into the 1000.2.

Well they installed a 1000.2 and ook away the 1000 not sure it will help.
I have sig on 211 of 85 on 129 TP 23 my most used TP of all. Next rain we shall see how it helps.

It looked like 1000.2 isa LITTLE larger dish.

The 1000.2 is larger than the 1000 but not by much. That's not too bad for TP23. Can you check SS for TP31 on your 211?

The 500 I added gave me 10-20 on every 129 TP.

I currently have SS of 80 on TP23 with rain so yours is not bad at all. Much better than my 1000.2 was doing.

on 110 lowest TP was 44, highest TP was 91 I think they tweaked me more on 129.
