How often should I rescan?

I've been out of the loop for several months while other things have taken front seat to FTA.

How often do I need to rescan my usual satellites?

Should I clear current data before re-scanning or just rescan over the top of what is there now?

Lots of changes on G10/g18 since your last scan, most likely. I'd wipe it out and start over, things move and new things pop up. Not knowing what your usual satellites are, that would be
my idea. Things changed some on 97 also (now called G19) and several other sats. Might find new things you like. Scan AMC9 for the RTN feeds.
