How much hockey can I see being in Florida? How much would be in HD? How much can I see without the Center Ice package?

Jimbo is right. HDNet has a nice little Thursday night and Saturday night package.

where in florida are you? south florida is florida panthers territory and north and central florida is tampa bay lightning territory. the people at fox sports in florida tell me there will be 25 tampa hd games this season. don't know about panthers. suspect it would be the same amount, perhaps a few games more!

You can get alot of college hockey with the sports pack ($12/mo)

Today/Sat FSN North has a 4 team tournament that just started.

Go Blue (MichigaN)

As a interesting side note, I looked at some college hockey schedules and with all the networks there will be more that I have ever seen on TV before:

FSN's, ESPN-U, CSTV, Big10, and a few other RSNs.

If you are looking for just the NHL you will get your local team(s) on your local RSN(s). There will be games shown occasionally on VS and HDNet as well. I think after the Super Bowl NBC will get a Sunday game as well. Those are the options I can think of.
