Hi All,
I'm very happy with my stuff right now... most of the satellites are mapped, C & Ku are working fine, and I've got 70 or so channels in my "Favorites" on the IPG.
But when scanning between the satellites looking for signal, I notice that my C-band lnb never drops below about 45. That seems to be the "background" level. Is that ok? I've heard others say that when an LNB reads 100 all the time it might be bad..but my stuff is new and generally works great.
KU is similar..I'll often be ON a satellite o/v channel and get 100 in that "left" window, but the lower right signal window will say just 1. (and no pic/sound) I've assumed I may be looking at a dvb transponder or something, picking up signals I can't decode. Just curious.
Thanks for any opinions you may have...
