I sent in the rebate form on 9/18 for upgrading to a 622 and a 722. My online statement finally shows a $10 a month credit for HD programming but I've got a total of $200 coming for the equipment. Can anybody out there tell me how long it was before you received your $$$ and did you have to fight to get it? Thanks!

Ed

i got a $50 credit on my 3rd billing statement

was supossed to get a $100 credit but oh well

I had a lot of trouble with the rebates(started in may finally got it worked out in NOV!!!!) and after talking to two CSRs who said they would take care of the problem, they did not, I called again and demanded "nicely" that I speak to an "account specialist" the CSR asked if I wanted to leave E* and I said yes. Once I got to the specialist I was able to get the rebates cleared up and it showed up on the next billing. That worked for me. If it did not, I would have e-mailed ceo@echostar.com for help. So try the specialist first......:yikes:yikes:yikes

I had to write ceo@echostar and he replied the next day asking which Dish n it up promo, and that he'd manually add them to my bills. I said the $10 for 10, and the equipment upgrade. I've seen the first of my $10 rebated but no equipment upgrade rebate.

I originally sent the first letter in August, then again in late September, then the e-mail after a registered letter wasn't signed for.

Seems that persistence is key to get the money you deserve.

Thanks for the responses everybody, I appreciate it. I'll give it a couple more weeks before I start hollerin'. Damned shame, but I anticipate a bunch of B.S. before I see any $$$.

BTW, BFG--You were supposed to get $100 and got $50, oh well???

I too have been waiting patiently. Its been a LONG time. I checked their rebate site https://www.web-rebates.com/dishnetwork/ and it showed approved and mailed. Well I never received a check or credit on my bill. I emailed dish from their website and got this reply within 24 hours (quite surprised on the quick response):

Thank you for your email. We do apologize for the inconvenience. I will be more than happy to assist you with this inquiry. Upon reviewing the account we have verified that the rebate has been processed. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for this to be applied. Can you please verify your mailing address? We appreciate your patience regarding this matter.

We thank you for allowing us to be of assistance to you.

Sincerely,

Dennis P.

So hopefully I will see my credit in yet another 1-2 months...

I've been checking that site and my rebate has been stuck at #2 (Processing) for close to 2 months. Now that's a lot of processing. About how long has it been since you sent in your paperwork? Thanks!

Mine says "Mailed" but I thought it was a credit on the bill. Writing the email I think got their attention, just hoping to get my rebate!! To answer your question I sent mine about 4 months ago. I just learned about the rebate site recently so when I checked it it already showed "mailed". Shoot them an email from their site, it got their attention when I did.

Yeah, unfortunately I have plenty of experience with the CSR lying thing. One time it absolutely was lying, not just not being ignorant and misinformed. I'll be doing the ceo@ echostar.com email shortly.

BTW, Happy Turkey Day Everyone!:hungry:

When I go to the rebate site it said "mailed" as well. I thought it was a credit on the bill as well. Two bills have been received since I sumitted my claim. No credit so far.

i have been waiting since August. 3 calles to CSR, and the last one told me it'll be on my next bill because he added it. we'll see. this is both the 10$ per month rebate and the 100$ equipment rebate.

Got my new 211 in July. Got the 50 dollar rebate on the hardware but nothing on the programming. Finally emailed ceo@echostar.com in November and the 10 rebates started appearing on the next bill.

Can you see where this is going? In a couple of years everybody will be writing ceo and the CSRs will just be sitting around and only getting calls from newbies who haven't had "the CSR experience" yet.

I just hope when that happens that ceo doesn't turn into csr@echostar.com with everything that implies.

Timely Rebate's

I think like any other rebate there is a expectation that the consumer will not submit the rebate.

It is frustrating that DISH expects that we really do not want our rebate. DISH needs to step up and honor the rebates that are filed in a timely manner.

It took four months to get my full rebate and this was only after calling in and asking for the status.

HD Receivers will not pick up HD Locals

Are the VOOM movie channels now a complete Joke?
