If I have 61.5 and 129 which satellite will the receiver select for those networks that are the same channel number on each satellite?
How does this work? 129/61.5 combined

Ok that works. I got the sports pack and I'm not getting MSG in HD because I see it's only on 61.5 yet I don't want to loose 129 so I'll just add 61.5 to my switch.

As far as I know, Dish doesn't carry MSG or MSG+ in HD.
It's not bundled in any of the NHL Center Ice channels, and the notes at dishuser.org state that while the channel has been in the channel tables for over a year, it doesn't ever appear to have been made available to subscribers.

My belief (tongue in cheek of course) is that there's some sort of algorithm so that it picks whichever one has the weaker signal.
