How do you program 6412 to skip unwanted channels?

How do you program 6412 to skip unwanted channels? I'm new to Comcast, with dishnetwork I was able to program system to my favorite channels and bypass channels using the up and down channel key. In fact was able to program multiple users with this feature. The only thing I see with comcast is the favorite key that is only programable to one user and does not go backwards. I must be missing something!

I read elsewhere that you could go into settings and select certain channels to skip, but I haven't tried it yet.
