How do you connect the DirecTv Android App to the playlist

I have an HR54 and attempting to view the playlist on the android app. The app is on the same network as my DVR. ( I have disabled 4G service on the phone to force the app to use the same network as the DVR. )

The app can not find the DVR when searching. I also have tried to enter the IP address of the Genier and it still does not work.

Any suggestions?

Lots of people are having problems downloading the Direct TV app on their android phones, I can D/L the app, but just does not want to open the program guide, but the app for the iPhone works just fine
