How do I transfer timers to a new Hopper 3?

I should be getting a new Hopper 3 today, how do I transfer all my timers? I already transferred all the shows to an external drive.

A tech came out over the weekend and said that my Hopper 3 with sling was shot (I wasn't getting a signal) he ordered a replacement, he did however "fix" it by replacing a splitter outside and it worked for a day then it stopped again and now it's working.... the interesting thing is he told me that the hopper was shot without ever looking at it.

Push "Home" button 3 times. Go to "Tools". Go to "Technician Settings". Select "Backup Settings". Select "Continue". On new Hopper, select appropriate restore option.

But be certain to keep the old remote because that is where your timers will be stored. Then pair that old remote with the new Hopper and do the restore.

Everything went well except my timers.... I called technical support and they weren't.
