How do I move DVR content from VIP722 to Hopper 3

!. Transferring to Hopper

Now that I have the Hopper 3, I would like to move videos still on my old VIP722 to the new Hopper. The videos are recorded on the internal drive on the 722, not on an external hard drive. Is there a way to accomplish this?

2. Viewing contents on 722

I find when I attached the 722 to another TV, all I get on the screen is the Wait 5 minutes Dish screen indicating it is loading searching for the Dish signal. Of course their is not cable connected to the dish or a tv antenna.

The 722 is mine to keep so if there was a way of using it just to view the recordings I could live with that if there is no way to add them to the Hopper.

Any ideas??

Transfer the ViP722 contents to a self powered EHD. The Hopper series will all read it just fine, either immediately or in a day or so.
