for a landlord to give a tenant a discount on rent or some other token gesture goodwill concessions while an apartment building is being sold to a new owner? Curious if anyone here has been through this before and if there are any standard operating procedures a lot of landlords go by. I've been dealing with this situation for the past few months now and my landlord has recently switched realtors so now someone new is in the mix with regards to taking more photographs, video footage, having access to my aparment for showings and open houses, etc... Definately a certifiable inconvenience when people are showing up on weekends and at dinner time to march through your place. Anyone have any relevant experiences for good or for bad which relate to this?
