how can you stop duplicate recordings?

I am using TT with my XM online, have had zero problems except I get the same item about 10 times. Is there a way to keep it from recording an item already on file?

There is a feature on the configuration screen that will prevent duplicate files from being created.

If you check out the documentation I believe there is a mention of it.
