There's alot of material outside the samurai/chinese action flicks they could cross-market on either the Kung Fu or Animania channels...

I'm not the most informed or fanatical anime fan, but I know from some friends collections that there is a LOT of interesting stuff out there...and I'd imagine that much of it is ripe for HD presentation at a decent price. TV series, films, shorts, a whole range of styles... I'd love to see some Satoshi Kon films, like "Perfect Blue", "Millenium Actress" and especially "Tokyo Godfathers". Most folks are increasingly familiar w/ Miyazaki (whom I really like), who's sort of the Kurosawa of anime, well, I'd call Kon the Ozu...more human eye-level drama, less Hollywood influenced stylistics. At times you almost forget you're looking at an animated film when watching. Really cool stuff.

What do folks think, and what titles would you be interested in seeing on Voom?
