Question,

Im going to either upgrade to the Hopper with
sling or should i just get sling adaptor.

Any difference besides one being built in.

The cost would be 50 for sling 100 for upgrade.
I already have a Hopper.

Your take?

If you are not interested in the iPad transfer feature of the HWS, I see no reason not to go with the Sling adapter....

Kinda agree. If you don't have an iPad (or don't ever plan on getting one), then you're looking at an extra $50 for just a speed increase. Granted, it's very noticeable, and I love my hopper with sling. It does also seem like the sling is a little more responsive. For $100 vs $50 I probably would upgrade my hopper even without the transfers app after having both. Now if it was $150 or $200 to upgrade, then it's definitely not worth it IMO.

Benefits of HWS are iPad transfers, faster speeds, built-in Sling, built-in WiFi.

iPad transfers allows you to transfer shows to your iPad for offline viewing (i.e. no Internet connection required.)
