I searched the forums, but couldn't find an answer to this. I'm researching Bluetooth headphones for use with both my Hopper (original model) and my iPhone 5. I'll use it mostly with the Hopper to watch TV after my wife has gone to bed. My price range is fairly low, as I don't consider this to be critical listening; I'm looking for a $50-$100 headset. Any suggestions for headphones would be great, but my main point is something else.
There's an audio codec, Apt-X, which is said to greatly improve audio quality. It's implemented in addition to the standard A2DP (Wireless stereo Bluetooth) profile.
I already know the iPhone 5 doesn't yet support Apt-X (but because Macs do, I suppose it could be added in a software update). How about the Hopper? Does it support Apt-X?
Thanks,
Tom
